This free one day conference is aimed at all surgeons and open to anaesthetists, nurses, ODPs, AHP, QI staff and other interested hospital clinicians and staff.
Sessions to include; Foundations of surgical safety in emergencies and how you can deliver a safer service
Delegates will have the opportunity to attend three workshops out of the fifteen on offer.
Planned workshops include:
- Introduction of a Surgical Quality Assurance Meeting
- Laparoscopic emergency surgery - reduced hospital stay and improved patient outcomes
- Using Structured Mortality Reviews to learn from surgical deaths
- The extended surgical trauma team: Fact or fiction?

This conference is free to attend. A £50 refundable deposit is required to secure your place, this will be refunded upon attendance at the event.
